In customer ops you'll help us reach out to users on our waitlist, onboard them to use Avala's AI Infrastructure Services, and follow up with them to turn warm leads into paying subscription revenue. It's a role that requires a combination of sales grit, perseverance, charm and customer empathy.
You’ll enjoy this role if you can
- You would find talking to customers 6-8 times a day energizing vs tedious or draining
- Document processes and customer feedback
- Would enjoy helping automate and building a more efficient process to onboard our users
- Analytical about the funnel from lead all the way to payment
- Comfortable being measured by results (number of onboardings, paying customers)
- Find ways to make each customer interaction fun and unique for them
- Interested in discovering clever ways to delight our customers
- Take initiative: if something is manual or slow, you research & find a way to make it faster
- 2 years of full-time operating experience in a customer-facing role
- A general technical understanding of how the web works, browsers, syncing, password management, google account profile switching, extensions, etc.

- You've worked at a startup before.
- Ability to gather, analyze, and act on feedback from the team, openness to critique.
